Alex brings diverse experience and a people-centric approach to SurveyCo, combining deep technical knowledge with a focus on quality, responsiveness, and pragmatic problem-solving.
Alex’s experience spans public and private sector projects ranging from small topographic surveys and cross lease conversions through to high-density unit titling and greenfield developments. He thrives on finding optimal titling solutions to maximise value for clients, while also ensuring that future property owners can enjoy simple and secure ownership with minimal admin.
Holding both a Bachelor of Surveying with Distinction and a Master of Engineering with First Class Honours, Alex offers practical experience complemented by an affinity for research and general knowledge. He is also a full member of Survey & Spatial New Zealand (formerly the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors) and Engineering New Zealand, and an associate member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find him swimming, pub quizzing, or making his way through a book/beer/burger.

Hayden brings a wealth of practical experience to SurveyCo. There is little that he hasn’t encountered after delivering thousands of surveys across the spectrum of topographic, cadastral, and construction surveying.He is equally conscious of complacency in a detail-critical profession, and always ensures the right checks and balances are in place while on site.
Hayden thrives on delivering high-quality work in an efficient manner, ensuring the right scope is covered to avoid any omissions without compromising timeframes.
Outside of work, Hayden enjoys spending time with his young family. He is also an avid cricket fan and plays for a local club.
